Presently the demand for qualified work-force needed by industries, business houses, corporate employers, government and utility services, drives the education system. However, the education system almost ignores the 'stewardship of creation' or caring and protecting the people and environment aspects. Taking care of citizens and environment is considered as the responsibility of the government but it has become rather clear that the politicians who run the government mostly have their own selfish agenda, which is primarily to hold on to power; with the result stewardship of people and environment is not a priority. This is manifested in the neglect of the poor and degradation of the environment that we see around us; causing widespread joylessness to people and planet on umpteen fronts.

It now increasingly clear that the diligent and wholehearted 'pursuit of Joy' by Giving-Joy, Getting-Joy and Creating-Joy for people and planet in multifarious ways, with an entrepreneurial thrust for sustainability, is among the most rewarding and fulfilling careers. This makes the individual 'Joypreneur' or a joy creating soico-civic entrepreneur. Joypreneurs proactively embark and establish themselves as multi-disciplinary stewards of creation, starting from the place wherever they live in; caring for the people and the environment of their neighbourhood, city, and nation; worldwide too.

'i too' am a Joypreneur needs to be the career of every citizen in the world, committed and focused on caring, protecting and developing people and planet in in the most relevant and appropriate way based on their core skills.
